Physiotherapy & Manual Therapy
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that assesses, diagnoses, treats, and works to prevent disease and disability through physical means. Physiotherapists are experts in movement and function who work in partnership with their patients, assisting them to overcome movement disorders, which may have been present from birth, acquired through accident or injury, or are the result of aging or life-changing events.
Lisa is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and has advanced training and clinical expertise in manual therapy. FCAMPT physiotherapists are qualified to provide safe, effective mobilization and manipulation treatments for pain and movement disorders of the muscles, joints and nerves in the spine and limbs. When treating patients, CAMPT physiotherapists include advanced clinical examination, hands-on manual assessment and treatment, pain management techniques, and therapeutic exercise.
